Josef Albers

He studied in Berlin, Munich and Weimar at the Bauhaus where, from 1923, he held an important teaching activity.
In 1933 he moved to the United States and continued teaching at Black Mountain College (North Carolina) from 1933 to 1949), Cincinnati Art Academy, Pratt Institute, New York (1949-50), and Yale University (1950-60).
